Job Description


We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator with customer service skills to join our team!   The Project coordinator is to play an integral part of the core team for a large-scale, logistically complex technology refresh program for a large K-12 client.

This individual will provide program support and coordination in various areas of the Program.   We are looking for a person who wants to challenge him/herself that will take ownership and assist with daily program production.  Requirements include having technical and analytical capabilities, knowledge of office suite, an understanding of technical concepts, ability to plan and manage multiple tasks, outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Customer Service Driven.


Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Scheduling all project work directly with clients
  • Generate team schedules
  • Issuing work orders to the Program vendors
  • Tracking vendor work order status
  • Generate various program documentation
  • Evaluating status updates from vendors to determine project status
  • Assists Program team with reporting & program administration, including:
    • Program status reporting
    • Resource utilization reporting
    • Program Expense Management
    • Program Timesheet Management
    • Meeting and WebEx Support

As the Program expands to its full capacity, this individual will have the opportunity to take on a leadership role as part of the program leadership team, helping to drive the program’s business & production, mentor the program team, and support the Program’s business growth.    As projects and initiatives are brought under the program, this individual will have the opportunity to assist or lead in the management of them.


The right candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience working as project coordinator or on a large scale project preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Sense of urgency
  • Capable of working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Pro-active professional verbal communication, customer service, organizational skills and professional manner required.  
  • Candidates must be customer oriented, self-motivated, ambitious and dedicated team players
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to drive production
  • Understanding of Cisco Networks & Wireless, and Data Cabling.
  • Understanding of inventory management 
  • Ability to quickly get up to speed on contractual requirements and standards
  • Project Management Certification a plus (i.e., CAPM)
  • High School or GED required
  • Proficient in English

The position is based in Hauppauge, LI and will require low to moderate travel into the five boroughs of New York City.
